- Blow off dirt and dust from the fins and radiator with 8 psi (0.19 MPa; 2 kgf/ cm2 or less) of compressed air. This can help remove any debris that has accumulated on the radiator fins.
- Check the condition of the antifreeze. Antifreeze helps regulate the temperature of the engine and prevents it from freezing in cold weather. Over time, antifreeze can break down and lose its effectiveness, so it's important to check it regularly and replace it if necessary.
- Clean the radiator using compressed air. Compressed air is an effective way to clean the radiator fins and remove any debris that has accumulated on them. If there is sludge in the radiator, try several cycles of draining, refilling, and adding a couple of tablespoons of powder dishwashing detergent. This can help break down the sludge and remove it from the radiator.
