• Concentration: Anti-freeze should be mixed with water in the correct concentration to ensure it provides the necessary protection.  The ideal concentration is typically a 50/50 mix of anti-freeze and water, but this can vary depending on the manufacturer's recommendations.
• Testing: It is important to regularly test the anti-freeze in a tractor's cooling system to ensure it is still providing adequate protection.  This can be done using a refractometer or test strips.
• Changing: Anti-freeze should be changed periodically according to the manufacturer's recommendations.  This is typically every 2-3 years, but can vary depending on the type of anti-freeze and the tractor's usage.

When changing the anti-freeze, it is important to properly dispose of the old coolant and follow all safety precautions.
