Checking Tractor Oil Level
There are key points on how to properly check the oil level in a tractor.
The correct way is to fully insert the dipstick and then remove it to check the oil level. Do not just let the dipstick sit on the threads.
Make sure to check the oil level when the engine is stopped and on a level surface.
Overfilling the crankcase with oil can cause white smoke, as can using the wrong oil grade.
Tilting the engine more than 15 degrees can also lead to white smoke from unburnt oil.
Properly checking and maintaining the oil level is important for keeping a tractor running smoothly and efficiently.
