What are the key steps to change the oil in your tractor?

Drain the old oil.  Locate the drain plug, usually a large bolt at the bottom of the engine block.  Place a drain pan underneath, loosen the plug, and allow the old oil to fully drain out.

Replace the oil filter.  Use an oil filter wrench to remove the old filter.  Apply a light coat of new oil to the gasket of the new filter, then screw it on until secure.

Add new oil.  Refer to your owner's manual for the recommended oil type and quantity.  Slowly pour in the new oil, checking the dipstick to ensure you don't overfill.

Replace the drain plug.  Clean the plug threads, apply a new washer or O-ring if needed, and tighten the plug back into place.

Start the engine and check for leaks:  Run the engine for 30 seconds, then inspect the drain plug and oil filter for any leaks.  Top up the oil if needed.

The key is to follow the specifications in your owner's manual for the right oil type, quantity, and filter.  Performing regular oil changes is crucial to keep your tractor's engine running smoothly.
